Pour + Pair

After completing a wine course, we decided to host a small, fun wine tasting for a group of our close friends. The positive feedback and enjoyment shared during the event, sparked an idea. Encouraged by this experience and with Jodi's ongoing knowledge and passion for wine, and Zoe's experience cooking and experimenting with ingredients, we were inspired to advance a hobby into a business. We are committed to creating a fun, welcoming and unpretentious experience where people can explore different wines, discover new flavours and most importantly, enjoy quality time together. 

Jodi (on the right) - My name is Jodi, and I am one of the founders of  Pour + Pair   My passion for wine started when I began unravelling the mysteries of a wine list and understanding more about the world of wine. In the past year, I've completed my Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 Award which has expanded my knowledge and confidence in all things wine! I thoroughly enjoy hosting tastings, and love to teach people something new. If someone has left a tasting learning one new thing that night and had some fun whilst doing it, that makes it all worth it!

Zoe (On the left)- Hi, my name is Zoe, and I complete the Pour + Pair team. When Jodi came to me and said she wanted to host a wine and food pairing for some friends, and required my help for the food, I jumped at the opportunity. I love to bake and cook, so cooking for groups during a food pairing is my idea of fun! We work together to develop a brand new menu for every tasting, combining Jodi's knowledge of wine with amazing local suppliers.
